Why not turn it into a fundraiser. Charge $1 per name submitted. Winner (to be chosen by team) to receive half the proceeds. Hopefully, the winner will just turn around and donate said winnings!
Otherwise, I agree with the poster who suggested including the hospital name (use acronym if the name is too long). And I like charting and cure. For example, MGH Charting a Cure (Montgomery General Hospital). Play on charting a course.
Good Luck!

Team Name
Why don't you try something that has to do with your workplace or why you joined the relay.
A suggestion is 'The Cancer Fighters'. Try something along those lines

Team Name suggestion
I would suggest a team name that includes the name of your company or organization- for instance, "Laps for Life- Mercy General", or if it were a church - affiliated group, "Spring Lutheran- Laps for Life".
By including the company/org name, you are giving "free" advertising, which will be looked upon quite positively by upper manangement. So you might be better positioned to enlist THEIR support and contributions. Additionally, it gives others a "belonging" feeling, so you could better obtain donations/team members/support from others in the same group- in a hospital, that could include Medical Lab, Radiology, Nursing, etc. That also may make it somewhat more likely to get media support?
just a thought...
