Hey Rodney.  It's great your team is coming together.  Seeing how it is already the 14th, I assume you will be registering at $125.  You might want to get in touch with your American Cancer Society staff partner, located in your local American Cancer Society office, about registering online without paying the registration fee.  This way you can get your team registered and begin your online fundraising before you actually pay the fee. 

Why don't you and your team hold a car wash.  Contact a local business on a busy street to see if they will let you do the car wash in their parking lot.  I know you are looking for something that does not cost anything, but the costs are minimal.  Most of the stuff you need for a car wash can be found at home.  Make signs and hold the car wash from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on a Saturday and Sunday.  You can even make tickets and presale them for additional profit.  We did this fundraiser and raised over $300.  We even had to compete against 3 other car washes on the same street that day.
