Can the email address be changed to each individual participant when they send out there personal emails requesting donations? In the Kintera system this was done automatic for you. It was based on the user registered. I am getting several participants requesting the change.
I know I can change it to our Online Chair or Chair person's email, but they are interested in having there personal email listed. Reason for this, friends and family are not opening the email, they do not realize whom the email is coming from.
If there is any help on this I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you :)

I agree with you. It may be somewhat of a spamfilter solution to have the email appear to be from onlineeventsupport@cancer.org, however, the people that I sent emails to did not respond and I wasn't sure why until I looked at the "from" email address. I know that many of my friends have their mailboxes set up to not receive email from people not in their address book. As a result, they will filter out emails that I send from my "Participant Center"
I have a solution. I will send the email that I want to send out to my personal email address and then I will forward it from my personal email address to my friends. Unfortunately, this solution will not allow the system to track the emails sent and therefore metrics on this tool will be lost.
I think that it would be good if the system would behave similarly to the Kintera system when sending emails.

If you guys are talking about what I think you're talking about, the "from email" has the online chair's adress (mine) but the "reply to" is the participant's. I had gotten a couple of fundraising request emails from participants that made me think I was going to be getting a bunch of unwanted replies from potential donors but then discovered the "reply to" belonged to the participant. Did I make any sense here?
In the Participant Center / Email tab, the sender's name and reply-to email address can be changed, but the email will be received as from "Chontelle Hockenbery [onlineeventsupport@cancer.org]". The reply-to will be whatever was specified in the Participant Center. There's no way to change that.
Masking the true sending address (onlineeventsupport@cancer.org) is a spam flag; this avoids that challenge.
