Hi, Everyone!

.. I have a question!  We have a myspace set up for our event.. (www.myspace.com/xoxorivertonrelayxoxo) And I was wondering if it's possible to set up a way for people to donate directly to our specific Relay on our myspace profile?

Donations via MySpace...don't do it

Brenda, I strongly urge you to not try to do online fundraising via a MySpace account. The only sanctioned way to process online financial transactions is through Society-approved and managed sites such as are set up for Relay For Life.

There are legal and financial regulation issues in regards to soliciting and accepting donations via the Internet and the Society ensures the data integrity of any transaction posted as a donation.

Contact your Staff partner and get the details on Great West Division's Relay Online plans. I'm confident your Event has a Website ready to accept donations. What you can do then is simply provide a link from your MySpace page to the Event site, or your team's or your personal page. If the credit card transaction is processed on an ACS site, then everything's cool.

Yes, when you search for your event, it shows that you have a website, but the link doesn't seem to be working.
