Me and some of my friends are first time relay for life participants.

Were going to be setting up a booth to try and earn money for the cause.

Any Ideas for a sponsorship or somthing we could do at the booth?

ideas

At the event - I would definitely have to say, appeal to the participants.  For example if your Relay is during the summer and it's hot you could sell water balloons, or snow cones.  And, if your Relay is online, go to that website events.cancer.org and search for your Relay.  There is a fundraising tab with great ideas.

Hope that helps!

Fundraising at a booth

Are you setting up your booth someplace before Relay or is it going to be at Relay?

If you are setting up before Relay (i.e. at a local grocery store, shopping center, church, etc.) then you might want to consider selling luminaria. You can even set up an area with art supplies for people to decorate the luminaria that you sell them which will then be displayed at Relay.

If your booth is going to be at Relay as on onsite fundraiser, you're going to want to sell something different from what other people at Relay might sell whether it's a baked good that no one else sells, water-ice, soft pretzels, glowsticks, or maybe something related to your Relay theme.

 Hopefully this helps!

Fundraisingat site

I found a great idea on the fundraing site. I think it was called Lap Beads, Before Reay starts sell a string that is tied a certain way with one bead for whatever amount you want and for each lap they add a bead of one color and after a mile has been made the add a white bead,  and then they can keep track of how many miles they have walked. They get each bead free for the mile counters, so you need lots of beads for them to add. The money making part only comes from buying the string  with the starting lap bead. Sorry I can't explain how to tie the necklace maybe someone else knows about this fundraiser and can explain. I'm also going to try this one this year. Good luck, Linda
