Hi all you Relay enthuiasts!

One of our local pre-schools wants to get involved in our Relay and has asked for some fundraising ideas that are appropriate for pre-schoolers.

It's unlikely that many of the kids will come to the actual Relay, so we are hoping to do something smaller for them.

So far I've come up:

Relay Links - selling strips of paper for 25 cents and linking them together.

Coins for a cure - Fill film canisters with quarters

Duct tape to the wall - Duct tape teacher to the wall

Art Show and sale

24 minute mini-Relay

And we are also looking at doing pre-school mini-Relay at a local nursing/retirement home.

Does anyone have any other suggestion that would be appropriate for the under 6 crowd?

Thanks!

Preschool Fundraiser

My mom owns a preschool and was very successful having the preschoolers "sell" little construction paper feet. She gave a prize to the top three students. Using the feet she was able to still stick with the theme of walking all night to fight cancer.

 Hope this helps.

Last year my co-captain did

Last year my co-captain did a penny fundraiser in her daughter's preschool class.  Each child was given a Relay can to fill, pennies only.  For one month they collected pennies.  THey had a large jar in the classroom that kids could empty their small jar in to.  After one month, 15 4 year olds had raised $181 by collecting pennies only!
