Hi All,

Welcome to the "Friends of the Quilt Lady Forum" . Sharon Hale, Pacifica's Quilt lady, passed away from colon cancer February 1, 2008. Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend. During her life she donated more than 4,000 quilts to friends, neighbors, and charities.

In 2007, the Friends of the Quilt Lady relay team was begun (friends and family have walked under different names, but now we have come together). We sponsored a brand new relay in Orangevale! Yeah! and are dedicating ourselves to do even more in 2008.

We will fight back against this cruel disease that has robbed the world of one of it's most generous souls!
