We are finding many Relayers can't get into their site and are getting frustrated. Then I see their username has 4 numbers after it. I know Rick said this was associated with family registration. Does that mean everyone who signed up with family registration will not be able to identify their username unless they ask me? If so, should I be searching out these 4 number usernames and helping them before they get more frustrated?

When you find a firstinitiallastnamefourdigit user name, it's system assigned either as a result of offline registration or family registration.
If a user can't log in, go to EMC / Cust Svc / Manage Participants / <search for the person's name (not username)> / View Summary. You'll see the username in the details. Click on Reset Password in the left nav. Now, contact the participant and have them log in with their username and reset password. Via "Change Profile", they can not only re-reset their password (which they should do) but also update their usernames to whatever they wish.

SO their USERNAME and PASSWORD is not what they think it is.. or will the system still honor the password they used upon registration..
Should I go thru and contact all of them in advance-Ie: they won't know about this unless we tell them (and not have them get frustrated)
THanks, Alicia
It a participant enters a username and password during online registration, then that's what's assigned to the participant, and neither changes unless the participant does so via "Change Profile" after signing in to the Event.
A system-assigned username and password comes into play as a result of family registrations and offline registrations.
