How would you handle this scenario...we rec'd a sponsor donation from the Lion's Club.

went to update the donation record but realized they weren't registered as a team. When called, they said they will not go online to register--they wanted nothing to do with emails or online fundraising. I
hear they usually generate some good money for the Relay.
What do we do? Register them ourselves? should we send them something to fill out for registration?

Can we set them up just as a team -not individuals..
Any thoughts?

Sponsor, not participant

Dave' right...you don't set up sponsors as participants but as donors. Look at the sixth Bulletin on the ROCN page; set up your sponsor via offline donation and, depending on the amount of the gift and a discussion with your Sponsorship Committee Chair, recognize them on your Sponsorship page.

Do they want any exposure from their donation?

It seems from what you stated above that they dont.

Just go to your  -event mgr. - customer service - ,record event gift, then enter the name as (first name) Offline ( last name) Donation.  The continue to next page.

Select  - Offline Donation if that page would  be next asking what choice you want.

If not, it will bring you right to the -  Gift Type - from there fill in all the info, you can enter their display name for the gift or not....you can have the donation displayed or not .

Follow the route above and you will see what I mean....if not e-mail me again.

Also, did you get the link I posted to your question about the logo's?
