I was asked today how making a participant private affected the team.  So I “played” with a team member ...   from the event manager I made one member private...

Does being made private simply remove you from the "search" options?   I searched for the team member by name and got...We were not able to find a participant that matches that name. 
 
If you become private are your donors still able to donate money to you IF they know your web address?   Yes, I made a $10.50 donation to my team member and she got the money.   

If a participant decides to be "private" does their money still count towards the team total? Yes

While the team member was private, my team count on the team list included her, but her name did not show on my team web page.
