I am having a problem online when a donor makes a team donation.  The donation is reported to the team captain via email but there is no scroll for the team to show the donation made.  Any corrections or quick fixes for this?  I'd love for that to be an option to any donor that wishes to support a team.  As well as when I enter offline donations made in honor of the team effort......will it not show up?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Team honor roll

Donations directly to a team are credited to the team, but there is no scrolling honor roll on the team page, so no outward / public recognition of the donor. It's on the enhancement list, but doubtful for delivery this year.

Team Honor Roll Suggestion

Do you think it would be okay to make an individual page that could represent donations to a team and just move the donations over.  I could get each team that wants their donors recognized to make a blub on their team page to look at that site for their donations as a whole.  (I know I know I'm overthinking this process but I have teams that are honored to have donors that they do and want them to be recognized as much as possible kinda thing.....just trying to help them and retain them as well)

We can move the donation correct from a team to an individual right?

Team recognition

Yes, you can have a "pseudo-team member" and use EMC / Customer Service / Manage Teams / <team> / Manage and for each gift, click on "Change Soft Credit" to move it t the "participant". I'd recommend you do that selectively, though, because you'll have these pseudo-participants showing up on the Top Inidividual Fundraisers on your home page.

If it's that critical, perhaps an edit on the team page text area would be as effective. "Cancer Crushers thanks the following contributors to our team..." kind of thing.

RE: Team recognition

Ahhhhh I didn't think of the top team listings getting messed up.  You are right.  I'll instruct the team captains to update their front pages once they receive notice they had a team donation.

Thanks!
