Anyone got any ideas for Mission moments to do at Committee Meetings?? Or where I can get a Mission Delivery Activity Book?? Any help at all would be great!!

Hey, I'm the Mission Delivery chair for our event and I've looked at the calendars from this year and last to get some of the "facts" to share with our group.  I've also used some of the information from the yard signs we got from our ACS rep.  There are links to cancer research and articles on the ACS website.  I even went to our ACS office one day and talked to a couple of the people from the office about the programs THEY work with...just to get more information.  (They didn't know much about Relay---which surprised me---and said they'd love to come to one of our meetings to talk about the programs they coordinate and work with every day.  Who better to do that???)

Mission moments

Here is a creative idea someone shared with me.  Ask all your teams to bring in a large dress, wig, makeup and accessories, but do not tell them why.  Around 2 am when everyone is getting giddy, tell all the teams to dress up a male and have them come to the stage for a "beauty contest."  Of course, this will be very entertaining!  Then, tie this in to the Look Good - Feel Better program.  If you can, find a Look Good - Feel Better kit to have on display to show all the high-quality makeup that comes with it.  Anyone have any other ideas?
