Spirit Award Rules & Guidelines 

What is the Spirit Award?  The Spirit Award is a perpetual plaque presented to the team earning the most Spirit Points during the Relay for Life event.  The team name and year will be engraved on the plaque for all to see.

 

Purpose:  The purpose of the Spirit Award is to promote team and participant involvement during the Relay for Life event by creating a fun and friendly competition amongst teams.

 

Rules & Guidelines: 

 

1.       Only registered participants of the Relay for Life event are eligible to earn Spirit Points.  Participants must be wearing the event bracelet to receive Spirit Points. 

2.       Spirit Points can only be earned during the Relay for Life event.  Any Spirit Points acquired before or after the event will not be counted.

3.       Participants must be present to accept any Spirit Points earned.  No other participant can accept earned Spirit Points on the behalf of another participant.

4.       Activities may have their own rules & guidelines and must be adhered to for Spirit Points to be earned.
