I attended my first Relay For Life in 2007.  I received a diagnosis of Metastatic Prostate Cancer in August of 2004.  For the past 3 1/2 years we have been fighting this insidious disease.  I have a large support group at work, at Church and at home with Family.  I would not be able to continue without all of the support.

For those of you who don't have a support group you need to be willing to talk about what is going on.  Be honest with people.  Get involved with ACS and join in on the Relay For Life if you have an opportunity to do that.  Last year we pitched a tent and spent the night.  it was a special time that we will always remember.

I keep using the term we!  I am not alone in the fight.  My Family, wife, 3 daughters, 2 sons, are right there with me.  Our Church friends are their with me, as are the people I work with.  People who know me don't walk by and just say HI.  They usually ask "How are you doing today?"  They even wait for an answer.  THEY CARE!

So join us in this battle against Cancer.  Join in and support the Race For Life, Breast Cancer Walks, etc.  Be a part of the group, participate, have fun and let's raise enough money to push for a cure.

Thank you,
