I will start by saying "HELLO"... This is my 6th year involved in Relay, and I'm still LEARNING. I'm so happy ACS has created a place for all of us to TALK.

In 1999 a sweet little girl named Hannah was diagnoised with ALL leukemia. We loved her family and her very much. Over the next 5 years it would have a whole community questioning everything from their faith to doctor's opionions, and also their own health. We lost Hannah on April 27,2004, she fought the fight. Hannah has brought so many people together with her strenghth and courage. I wanted to do things in Hannah's name constantly, but now that I have become involved in Relay everyday is for Hannah.

In the past 4 years I have lost one uncle and two aunts to lung cancer, they all SMOKED. I loved them all dearly, and miss them. They are also why I Relay. We can all relate to almost all Cancer Stories, and that is something I don't always enjoy. I LOVE PEOPLE and I don't LIKE SADDNESS. Relay to me is HAPPINESS.
