Can't wait to get started on this adventure, so much to do. So much I don't know and need to learn about Relay for Life. Most of all THIS feels like something that I can do to make a difference in a meaningful way. The most frustrating thing to me about watching someone you love have cancer is, the unknown and not knowing what's next. Hopefully someday we will know what's next, and be able to treat all cancer patients early enough to have a cure for each one. I would like to be a team captain for a group that will be walking for my husband, and all those who have cancer. Scott was diagnosed with colon cancer that had metastasized to his liver two years ago on September 26, 2005. Since then he has had a colon surgery, 46 weeks of chemo in a row, a radioblation surgery followed by a few months off, at which point the cancer was growing back strong again, and so he had to start back on an every three week regiment of chemo. You can read about his journey so far here www.caringbridge.org/visit/scottbecken I am excited to meet and talk to others who will be walking in the Relay for Life this year, especially those from Stillwater, MN
