Today I started this fundraiser in which I placed glass "Crush" bottles on the reading or english teachers for the grades 7th-12th. (we are a small school..so I can do this easily.) I have asked that people place only dimes...and we are calling it "Crush Out Cancer." Relay for Life Dime-A-Thon....the class that raises the most money will be able to live for lunch 5 min early for a week. I hope for the best...but most of the kids in my school just don't seem to understand what we are trying to do...they don't want to do it because they don't care about the prize...well that's kids for ya right? We are a high school team and so far we have raised about $900. I'm extremely proud of us. On Saturday we made a total of $200 with a bake sale @ hastings! Tell me what you think about the "Crush out Cancer" fundraiser and what I could do to get kids interested...I would love to hear what everyone has to say..
