Yes!! I have 4 friends who have "committed" for me!  I'm getting very excited A friend of mine, Jen, said she has participated in the Laporte relay and said it was great fun, each team had booths set up for food, etc to look at and buy from to raise even more money and they had entertainment running throughout the event to give those not walking something to do.  I don't think I will be at a loss for something to do if I'm surrounded by my girlfriends! 

Sara has even asked if she can come with me for a little while to walk around the track.  I'm more than happy to get her involved in something for such a good cause.  Unfortunately, she never met my granny, but she will know plenty about her by the time this event is over with.
