I am doing a Relay Retreat in about 2 weeks and need any ideas anyone has. We got a great place in the Tahoe area (we are 30 minutes away). This is our last big get-together before Kick-Off and an opportunity for those committee members who couldn't come to our Boot Camp. I want to make it worth their while. We will be doing a lot of our planning for the kick-off at the Retreat, but also want new ideas for motivating them and helping them get to know each other.
We did an ice breaker recently where you post a big "Yes" on one wall and a "No" on the other. We would ask the group questions like, "Have you ever lived overseas for more than 1 year?" and "Have you ever sung Karaoke?" After each question people would go to the appropriate wall for the "Yes" or "No". We used 15 questions. It was a fun way to start to get to know each other.
