I know we all have our own reasons as to why we're involved with Relay For Life.  But sometimes, I admit, I need a reminder.  I received this message today and it says it all!  I hope everyone reading this has a very Merry Christmas and a totally purple New Year!!

Ann, thank YOU so much for donating your time to a very worthwhile cause!! It's work like yours that enabled research and a "cure" for the cancer that Zach had (testicular cancer). Apparently, 15-20 years ago, the statistics were flip-flopped on the cure rate for testicular cancer. But, due to research, it's a highly curable cancer nowadays.

We are fortunate to have people like you, and we cannot thank you enough for your efforts! It saved our son's life!

Merry Christmas, Ann!

Happy New Year

I am here on this site, guess the Relay world is out tonight! I want to thank you all and thank the Moderators, one is a friend of mine and she loves RFL!  Me too!!

Thank you to all our survivors, I am one as well, but it is all of YOU that make a difference! My Relay experience years ago was for my dear friend  John MacIntosh, who is now my Angel above. He gave me the courage to step out and become more involved in Relay. I am thankful every day for the time we spent together. I will see him again one day....

Take care and have a wonderful New Year......!
