I learned at Summit about all the different items that staff partners got for different groups and I want to know what to ask for. For example, we had tent signs with Relay logo and teams could write them name on them a couple of years ago. Last year we didn't have these. Also, can they get us giveaway type stuff? Whistles, frisbees? Our staff partner will get us whatever we ask for; we just don't know what to ask for.
My suggestion is to consult with prior chairs from your event, or even your Relay Council Member. I am a first year chair in Josephine County, Oregon. I have found that asking help of people with direct experience with these questions is invaluable!!!

Well I know that in past Relays I have seen a multitude of items. But the most memorable item I can remember was from a vendor with Relay Gear. The item was temporary tatoo's, just purple tatoos with the relay logo. They were a smash hit with the young & old. Frisbees are great too as the teams take them home after the event to remember.
Sit down with your staff partner as I am sure they will have other ideas to. Most valuable asset you can have is other Relayers for ideas.
I don't know where to start - this is my first year of being Activities and Entertainment Chair and this is our second year with Relay. Last year they didn't have an Activities Chair and it was pretty boring, but this year i want to make it fun for everyone. I want to try new things and i hope everyone will enjoy - does anyone have any ideas they can offer me or suggestions on how to make Relay better...
