this is my second year doing relay in dearborn, the relay is not until next year in June but no info is posted for registration or anything. any idea y??
I'm the returning Event Chair for the Relay For Life of Dearborn. Our event will be May 3-4, 2008, and is tentatively scheduled for Edsel Ford High School again, though the location may need to change.
I am hoping to get our website going within the next week or two, I'm just waiting for password access from our local ACS office. I'll send out an email to captains, and maybe all participants, as soon as our new website is up and running.
Our Planning Committee for 2008 has had one meeting so far, with the next scheduled or Nov.13. If you're interested in joining the Committee, or have any other questions about our Relay, feel free to email me through this site or at themalyns@hotmail.com .
Dearborn had a great event in 2007, growing from $58,000 to $119,000, doubling both the money and the fun! We plan to do even better this year. I am very excited about the website getting close to ready so we can start recruiting for 2008.
I hope you enjoyed your 2007 Relay experience and I'd love to hear any comments you may have to make 2008 even better. What team were you on in 2007?

Dear Mrs. Malyn
Last year I was on Fatooma Saad's team "Ribbon of Hope". After losing my aunt very suddenly to cancer last Christmas, I decided to start my own team this year. My team members are all teens from Edsel Ford and Dearborn High. We are working on teen themed fund raisers. We are still thinking of a name. I wanted to make sure that I am on top of all the info so my team is informed. Thank you for all your help. It is very much appreciated!!!

A new technology platform / service provider is being implemented for Relay Websites this year. Likely, your Region is still in the roll-out stage. Contact your Event Chair or ACS Staff partner for an update and the new Website address for your Relay 2008 Website.
