Hello, I am the Co-chair of the Relay For Life of Poolesville, MD, and we are looking for the survivorship medals and the survivor sash? Are these things ordered from specific companies or are each Relay having them made specifically for there Relay? Would someone be able to help us to find or come up with something special like these items to give our Survivors.
At Shepherd University, we make out own sashes for the survivors. We buy three inch ribbon and attach them at the waist with a button that we also make. This year we will be starting those weeks before the event so we can have a cancer ribbon on each as well to show which cancer they battled. This takes up a lot of time if everything is put together the day of relay and holds up the line, so everything must be done before hand.
