I am in the process of writing a How-To Guide to design your own Relay Guide.  It is written for Microsoft Office Word 2007, but is simple enough to be used with most word processors.  I originally created the Relay Guide using Microsoft Office Word 2000.  I hope to be able to attach a couple of files along with my How-To Guide.  I plan on attaching a blank guide to simplify the process of making your own guide.  I will also be attaching the files used in creating the guide we used for our event.

How to guide

Would love to see this as well. Since we are a baby relay, there was a huge learning curve this year. I am much better equipped for next year. A guide like yours would add to our success. Thanks for your encouragement by the way. Livingston is stoked!!

That's Awesome!

By Relay Guide - Do you mean Relay Event Program (another way of saying it?)...?

Here is an example that might give you some other ideas for what you are putting together:

http://www.acsrelay.org/Darn_Good_Ideas/14-Event_Program_Example.doc

It includes a sample letter from the Chair, Committee Acknowledgements, lists of teams, Event Schedule, List of Entertainers, etc. Would love to see your example!

Thanks - email rflvolunteer@gmail.com to discuss further.

Not the Event Program

No, not the Event Program.  Although I have not been involved with our event since it's beginning, I am sure there has always been an event program.  The Relay Guide is small booklet designed with the intention of promoting involvement amongst teams and participants.  We used ours as a guide to mission delivery activities and a way to award spirit points.  There is less information in the Relay Guide compared with the Event Program.
