I just attended my first Relay University this weekend in Itasca, Illinois.  As a member of the committee from Williamson County in the Southern Region, I am so pumped for Relay 2007!

 If anyone was there, let me know!  I am the Awards and Incentives Committee person, as well as Entertainment.  This is my first year on the committee, and I am looking for cool ideas and other ways to get the youth involved!

Illinois ROCKS!

I was in Itasca last weekend, too! And am I PUMPED for Relay 2007!!!

I am the Event Chair for the RFL of Knox County and just wrapped up my term as an IL Division Task Force Member. (Did you see the Grease skit on Saturday? I was the barefoot one!)Cool

We are working to get more youth invovled at our Relay, too. Last year we sent a form to the 14 and under school kids and told them if they raised $50 and turned it in at the event, they got a free t-shirt. The kids just had to fill out the form and return it to that subcommitee with a parent's signature and t-shirt size. We got it to the schools too late last year, so plan to do it earlier in the spring for our July event.

 I would welcome any other ideas out there.
