Welcome to the RelayForLife.org Site Moderators Group.  This is a place for the RelayForLife.org moderator committee to discuss things and to share ideas on how to make RelayForLife.org more useful for volunteers across the country and the world.

Some things to keep in mind:

1. When typing the URL, always capitalize the R, F, and L.  Like this: RelayForLife.org
2. If you identify any obscene or inappropriate posts, please delete them immediately...and report the username in this group.
3. Feel free to give any advice...but please refrain from using terms like "official ACS policy" or "official ACS stance."
4. Encourage people to share their stories and information.

Basically - keep doing what you've been doing...it's why you were asked to be a moderator.  Just do more of it! 

Here is the original job description.  After a month or so, we will regroup and decide what has been working and what needs to change in order to maintain the integrity of this new committee!

Review the blogs, or forums, or both. You would monitor one of the sections and:

1. Watch for appropriate content
2. Answer questions from a volunteer perspective
3. Reply to blogs with words of encouragement or guidance
4. Report anything that would be good to promote to the home page to me
5. Report any inappropriate content to me
6. Report any questions to me that would require ACS staff response
