(In southern Maine)

We had a few hundred helium-filled balloons.  We asked people to write messages to their loved ones, people who have been lost, etc.  We then all walked the final lap together, and on the count of 3, in the center of the track, we all released the balloons.  It was like I was sending a message to my mother up in heaven.  First time we tried it.  Everyone loved it.  I think we'll be doing this for years to come.
