I created a page at Myspace last year and searched for youth in our local highschool. I found so many! I just started emailing them and explained that I was trying to recruit leaders to recruit more youth for our local Relay. I received four emails back from girls wanting to help. They recruited several new teammates for the high school team which had been pretty small the last couple of years. ![]()

I have also been leveraging MySpace with a lot of success.
I have been directing people to relayforlife.org via MySpace - I have a profile for rflvolunteer there where others active in some aspect of Relay For Life find me, and talk about Relay. It's been greawt.
Thanks for sharing!
That's a great idea. Congrats on such a great success with it. Did you know that you can copy myspace layout codes from RelayForLife.org? You can also click on the web tile in the right-navigation bar to add the RelayForLife.org badge to your blog or web page. Did you all also register on your local Relay For Life website to raise money online?
http://www.myspacelayoutsupport.com/profile-editor/ allows you to use the pre-made layouts while you can also make your own layout from scratch.
There are dozens of free myspace layout codes & css editors that you may try. I believe a myspace layout editor would be the perfect solution for your kind of problem.
Hi, Everyone!
..I realize that most of these posts are from a long time ago, but I have a question and it's myspace related! We have a myspace set up for our event.. (www.myspace.com/xoxorivertonrelayxoxo) And I was wondering if it's possible to set up a way for people to donate directly to our specific Relay on our myspace profile?
Thanks!
Brenda :)
