Danielle Hurst is entering her second year of Relay For Life in Kutztown. She is also a one-year Ovarian Cancer Survivor who Celebrates herself, her grandfather, her grandmother, and her uncle.
One of the most memorable moments of Danielle's first Relay experience was holding the Survivor's Banner during the Survivor's lap. "Even though I cried the whole lap, it felt good to see how many people were actually there as survivors fighting and not giving up the fight," she says of her experience.
Danielle also believes that Celebrating at Relay For Life is important because it gives people from all over the area to get together to celebrate life and what we have overcome as a whole. It is also important because it gives skeptics a reason to believe.
