Need help with Bark For Life!

We are looking at bringing the Bark For Life to our community for the 2010 season, and I am looking for input from people that have done this before.

Organizing, fundraising, etc.

Any and all help is appreciated!

SARAH

I'm new here, but I just wanted to say that my daughter, Sarah, has just completed chemotherapy for NHL. Her prognosis is great, but it has been a difficult time for our family. I am hoping to get involved with anything related to NHL. Linda

Heath care reform needed now!

Don't let those that try to scare us away from heath care reform win. There is so much incorrect information out there that it can scare us away from supporting reform. We need it so badly. If you doubt your what you hear go to acscan.org and there is some really good information there. We don't need to copy systems from other countries that don't work well, we can come up with an American solution! Cancer patients need it. We all need it.

A New Season Is Upon Us...

I have the fortunate opportunity to be the Event Chair for the 2010 Relay for Life of Jackson County Carbondale. I had reservations about taking this on, but I feel I have overcome those. This is going to be a wonderful experience and I can't wait to get started. Our first committee meeting is September 02 and I am really pleased with the committee members we already have on board. I had the pleasure of working with some of them this year as the Co-Chair. They are a wondrful group of people dedicated to an awesome cause. I am trying not let myself become too overwhelmed by what is ahead. I know I can do it. I need to do it. In a way, I need to prove to myself that I can do it. Well, that's enough for now I guess. Happy Relay Everyone!

Fundraising

Hi My name is Denise. I recently talked with a lady who is involved in Relay for Life. She expressed to me that you guys do a lot of fundraising. I would like to help. I am a PartyLite consultant. We, PartyLite, are also involved in raising money for the American Cancer Society. PartyLite also offers a fundraiser that will alow the group to earn 50% of the profits. This is my way of contributing to the Relay for Life. I would lke to get involved with as many teams as I can and offer my services for fundraising. You can check out the information on my website at www.partylite.biz/dmiller

If you have any questions you can contact me at swartz918@yahoo.com or by calling (440) 622-6776.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from you soon.
Denise
