Cancer is not a matter of if..it's a matter of when.

Cancer is one of the scariest words in the English language.  If you have not had cancer personally, then you probably have a family member who has.  If not, you probably know someone who has been affected by it.  If not, consider yourself blessed.  Cancer is EVERYWHERE!!  Just recently , my dad was diagnosed with melanoma on his shoulder.  Then, within a few months, he had a different kind of cancer on his neck.  My grandfather lost his battle to lung cancer in 1997.  One of my best friends lost her battle to cancer in 2004.  Her husband lost his battle to brain cancer a few years before that.  These people and others are why I walk.  We can make a difference!!!  It's easy to sit back and worry, or complain, but we CAN do something to help out!!!  Please help me raise money for research, so that when, not if,  the time comes that we need it, there may be a cure!!!  Thanks for your support!!!!

Customer Service at Relay...Help needed!

Looking for some input to help with our Local Summit breakout. Some answers from across the country would be great!!!

How do you handle violators (dogs, bikes, scooters, etc.) at your event?

What if you don’t have the volunteers available to staff an information tent for the full event? What are some ways that you have been able to get information to visitors and team captains when there isn’t a information tent?

La Quinta Relay For Life

Oct.3 I ran-walked for the first time for a cause! It felt GREAT because I am a Cancer Surviver.

I am a survivor and proud of it!!!!

I am a survivor and proud of the fact that I am here today to let people know that the disease of cancer is not going to get the best of me.  I have many reasons why I continue to fight this disease but the biggest is for myself and to know that I have beaten this before and will do whatever it takes to make it through another day.  I was first diagnoised in 1987 with overian and uterian cancer and I was victorious and came out on top, was rediagnoised in 1993 with breast cancer and won that battle also, but the hardest battle is being fought right now because I was diagnoised once again with the dreaded  six letter word CANCER.  This time I am fighting non-hodkins lymphomia and each time it gets harder but I have never let it get the best of me before and I won't let it win now.

Cancer Bracelet

I am looking for information on making cancer bracelets to sell as a fundraiser for this year's Relay.

I've only found places selling already made bracelets which are VERY expensive.  Thanks!

Nail decals

Does anyone know where I can get nail decals with the ACS logo?  I saw a picture that someone had the logo on their toenails.  I am thinking about using this as a fundraiser during relay for our team.  It was neat to see and I have been looking since summit for these.  If you know where I can get them, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you,

Susan
