With a little help from our friendsIt's afternoon here in Scotland and the weather is, well, normal for this time of year (rain, cold etc...) We've just been in touch with a national superstore who we hope is interested in sponsoring our event, also, we've downloaded loads of publicity information from this web site, on first glance it looks really good and should help us out getting the event noticed as advertising was and no doubt will still be our problem over here because unlike the US very few people have heard of the Relay for Life due to the fact we have a Race for Life which is nationally sponsored by a huge multi national chain of surpestores and it's advertised all over the country and in each and every store this company has across the UK. That said it's not going to stop us, just make us more determined to get the Relay's up to that level. Thanks,

A little help...Ladies and Gents of The US of A, We (our committee) are organising our 2nd Realy for Life in Falkirk (a small town in Central Scotland, UK) and we were wondering since you guys have orginised hundereds of these events for many years we thought who better to ask for a little help, than you guys! Any and all advice is greatly appreciated as this years event raised £47,000, about $76,00 and we're planning on going bigger and better since the Relay for Life is only a couple of years old in the UK. We asked a national drinks manufacturer to sponsor the event next year, unfortunately they've only promised to donate water for the event, however, every little bit helps. Thanks for your time.
David Oh by the way we have a Twitter account (FalkirkRelay), which we plan on updating with progress for next years event so feel free to follow us. scottishrelay – October 26, 2009 – 10:46am
