Tuesday May 20

Well, Here it is Tuesday the 20th already. Where in the world did the time go. I had planned to be in great shape for the Haverhill walk. I joined a gym, I went to Yoga, I went to both of those things. Then I found out that I am expecting my third child. It has placed my training on hold just until I get over the "morning" or rather it should be called all-day sickness. Funny, how I have to say that I need to train to walk.

I am walking for my grandmother who has been battling cancer for over fifty years. It started when she was in her thirties with cervical, then skin, then breast, now colon cancer. She is strong and stubborn. Which I think most 87 year olds are. She is my Visa commercial..priceless. She moved in with me about 1 1/2 years ago with the assumption that we would be given three months.

We have our good days and bad, now more frequently they are not so good. I would not be able to give her the love and attention and time if it wasn't for my husband. He supported my desision to quit my job and take care of her. It is not as easy as it sounds. Being in the house all the time can put a strain on anyone. I have a good support system of friends and family that help out.
