I looking for survivor or caregivers in the south-side & Tidewater area in VA for share experience, with doctor, hospital in this area. My husband have what star as prostate cancer that move to his lung, bone and liver. We already have five different treatments and nothing works! Please anybody with any information let me know.

In my school we decided to sell lunches, breakfast and desserts is nothing better the a home cook meal. We are having a hat day plan for the children with a dance.Casual Friday for the adults. Transfer Iron on t-shit and some cancer association jewelry. This are some ideas we using and maybe you can use. Here in Norfolk we wish everybody good luck in their fundraiser this year and years to come. The anybody know what is the color for prostate cancer?(eg.breast cancer is pink)

As I was said before. We met different doctor some give you hope other take away. I been in support groups trying to understant how you get your self ready for bad news and the posible loss of a love me. My husband is been a inspiration for me, he is alway thinking in other people worrie for the family putting other people first. maybe you read this and said this make nonsense but cancer don't make sense to me. A wonderful father, army veteran, hard worker, good friend, good son and wonderful husband why have to go throught so much pain. Maybe some body out there understant this pain. We are just ordinary people that want to make a different. Last year was our first year of relay, three days after we have the news the cancer spread. In that relate I learn about courage and heart! I was dress as a bee and my husband walk all night long.This year I work hard to raise money for relay, for my husband legacy. Friday we going to the doctor again pray for us.

My name is Aida. I work for NPS. The reason I start with Relay for Life is because three years ago I married a wonderful man. We are different in almost everything but I love him. Getting ready for our wedding he start worrying about his age and have a issue with it.(he is 20 years older) I said go get and get a physical and that going make you feel better. A month after the Wedding we got call to the doctor office and we have the new that he have prostate cancer but don't worry all the men get it. From that moment treatments start radiation, shots, test after test. We went and have a second opinion were we discover spread to the liver, bones and lungs. This news took us to good doctor and to bad doctor. In this storm of bad news my husband always look at me and ask me how you doing? I be back late!
