Hello, my name is Shelly Deaver.  I now live in Paoli, OK. My son was diagnosed with liver cancer in December 1998, when he was 15 months old.  We spent a month in the PICU in Wichita, KS.  We lost him on January 2, 1999.  I had never heard of Relay for Life until he passed away.  I have been involved with this great cause ever since.  This will be the second year that I am a team captain and it has been very special to me.  I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who becomes involved.  You are awesome!!
