Well its February and in Wisconsin that means we are making our last and most impressive push possible to make our state smoke-free. We need the help of all relayers and supporters. If you care about reducing lung cancer please take action today. Support Senate Bill 150 so that everyone can breathe free. Or you can call the state legislative hotline at 1-800-362-9472 and will be given contact information for your state lawmakers. Thanks for everything you do. 107 days. That is how many days late the Wisconsin State Budget is. This is not acceptable and we need you to take action. The urgency is realy and people's health is at stake!

This delay in the state budget and delaying a price increase in tobacco products is hurting our children. By choosing not to act and pass a state budget, thousands of Wisconsin children have tasted their first cigarette and become addicted to this product. Please contact your lawmakers today and ask them to pass a budget that includes a $1.25 increase in the tobacco tax. Stand up to Big Tobacco and stand for our children.

Another beautiful angel has arrived in heaven. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with Gladys's family as she lost her long battle with cancer earlier this week. Gladys was a beautiful ray of light to us in Wisconsin and the Midwest Division. God Bless you Gladys.

What a great weekend with all of you in Dallas. I am so excited to hear the new ideas about how we can be bigger and better, and more EFFECTIVE in 2008. A special thanks to all my friends in Wisconsin for their help while my arm is recovering! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of summer!
