Forum Topics v. Blog

Hi All,

I wanted to suggest that rather than Blog about an issue it's probably easier to create a Forum Topic about it. And we'll probably get more responses.

When you create a Forum topic, your topic shows up under the New Forum Topics in the Right Navigation Bar below the Support Relay badge, above your list of group memberships. Only those groups you check off when you create your topic will actually see it in their list, so it won't show up for Everyone, unless you check for it to.

But there is no tickler for the Blogs. You, the reader has to check each group you belong to individually to find the blogs, which makes them harder to find.

For both Forums & Blogs, if you go back in to Edit your forum or blog, you will have the choice to make that specific item available to more than just the one group you created it in.

Anyway, so there's my suggestion. Blog about experiences, like a diary. Create Forum Topics about issues, frustrations and suggestions.

You are all helping me with making this time fly by!  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and including me in your plans!  I have had a good week because Dr. Morton took me off the Mayo Clinic Research medication called Tykerb.  My body does not want to be normal when I am taking the medication.  Now I have had a week to regain my strength and we will start again Monday morning before my Chemo treatment with the Tykerb.  Just pray that my body will act "nice" this time!

We had the best Cancer Support Group meeting at church this week.  John and Michelle Webb have been such an inspiration to me and to others in our group.  I felt like it was one of those rare moments in life that you will always cherish every word that each member shared and Michael, our pastor, helped us to understand our feelings.  My sincere thanks to each one of you for being a part of my life.
