Account for online fundraising

I just signed up (offline) for the Jazzercise team, Stutsman County, ND Relay for Life event. I was given a packet to collect donations. I would also like to collect online. I searched for my team, but there doesn't appear to be a webpage set up for them. Can I register as an individual or will that register me twice for the event? Any suggestions on what to do? This is my first time doing relay. Thanks, Melisa

Just getting started

Cry  I have now known about having breast cancer since March 14, 2008 and have gone through CT, PET, Muga and Bone Scans.  This Friday May 30 I will have a port put in and get ready to start chemo on the 3rd of June.  As of right now I am scared but know that all will be well.  Will write again later once I get started and let you know how I am doing.

Relay For Life - Relay for fun

How many different ways can you do a lap aroud the walkers up all night without time to takeforty winks.

Early on the evening of June 20, relay participants will start arriving to set up their camp sites. While those with know how pitch their tents, others will set out the luminarias or organize games to pass the the night. Some may settle down with a good book while there is still light and some will get going around the track. It is not a race, and people will be going at different paces.

If relayer follow the script, first will come those dressed in the theme of their campsite. Next will be the Awareness Ribbon Theme Lap. On this lap, people  will wear different color ribbons to highlight their particular awareness of the disease. And as the night wears on, look for the relay to get crazier and crazier with rope jumpers, bubble blowers,  crazy hat wearers, book balancers, tennis players, hockey players, soccer players and more.

Whatever else you expect, don't expect the night to be dull. You may sleep under the stars or huddled in your tent. But remember, this event takes place rain or shine. So bring your umbrellas, raincoats, and galoshes, just in case.
