How do I access a high resolution image of the event logo?

Our team is making up customized tee shirts for the event and we can't use an image from a Website (typically 72 DPI) for that. I need to access the Relay For Life/American Cancer Society logo in a resolution of 300 DPI or more. Can anyone help with this request?

Inspired !

After attending the team captains meeting lastnight, I was so excited to start Matt's team!!

What an insperation everybody was.

Matt would have loved the idea we are doing with Dolphins and Hawaii theme, as that was his Make A Wish dream, come true!

We have hopes of finding a dolphin costume, somewhere that we can borrow for that weekend. We shall see.

I miss my Matt so very much, but I know he is so much better off, being cancer free in Heaven!

God Bless!Innocent

An Introduction to Fight Back

I know many of you have heard about a new ceremony which may take place at your Relay this year. Maybe you have already participated in a Fight Back ceremony and made your pledge to save a life.  You may be wondering why a new ceremony was created in the first place?  Let me give you some background.

As most of you know, Relay For Life has always been about celebrating, remembering, and fighting back.  At every Relay, we already do a great job of celebrating survivorship and the hope that one day cancer will be eliminated.   We also do a great job of remembering loved ones we have lost to the disease.  Both of these emotionally charged elements of Relay are visually symbolized through our Survivors Lap and the Luminaria Ceremony.  Through Relay and these emotional experiences, we have built an army of people – just like you - ready to take action.  Relayers want to do more!  And while raising money through Relay is critically important, we know it is not the only way to save lives.   [Click on Read More to continue with this post.]

My Wish For All

I wish there was no such thing as cancer as it has taken and made ill several of my loved ones...I pray that this horrible disease will sometime find it's end. I wish the tears and the pain were over but as it is still here I will do my best to fight it!!..no matter if walking in a relay, praying daily or giving consolation to others I will do what ever God needs of me.

I need help on missions delivery Ideas during event

Does anyone have any mission delivery ideas for the teams on the out side of the track during the Relay event? This is my first year, Thanks

What creates us?

If there was no suffering, would you still have compassion? If there was no cause, what would you risk your life for? Would you still fight? Or come together to show support to someone you never meet before, so what would be the purpose? To say why does this happen or to say what can I do to make a change. Fighting doesn't always mean you have to believe in what you’re fighting for it just means you have to believe that your fighting will make a change.

I am really excited to get this team going and I can not wait to walk for cancer.  I hope the rest of you are getting pumped to make it through the whole night.  NO SLEEP!!

New for Relay!

Kiss I want to express how excited I am for Robyn and I to become a Relay for Life Team.  We are proud for our families, our salon, and our friends to help us with the mission to eliminate cancer.  We feel extremely blessed and honored to be a part of ACSRL.  I have several family members and friends who have survived  and lost their lives to cancer. I pray for all who has been affected somehow. Please join our fight and mission.
