How to register for survivor lap? Promote a team captain?

I only see where you can register for survivor lap ONLY (not part of a team or a team captain).  How do you do this if you are part of a team?  Is this something that has to be done through the office?

I don't see any "promote" link next to the team roster under the team progress as our online chair indicated there should be.

Anyone have any help???

I have to say this new set up isn't all that great......hope it gets better....

My first Relay

Hello, My name is Betty Lennox. I attended the relay for life last year for the first time. I was blown away with all the caring people at this event. I knew nothing about the relay for life even thought I have walked in several other events over the years. My youngest daughter is a cheerleader for Peachtree Ridge High School and was selling beads for relay, so my husband and I arrived later during the day to pick her up.  I was given a survivor t-shirt and other stuff. Was instructed as to what was happening and my husband and I walked the survivor lap together. It was one of the most memorable moments of my life.  Thank You!! Embarassed

Please Sponsor me for Relay for Life

Hello, Hola & Salam to all my family and friends,

It's me, Masume!!!  I know you haven't heard from me in a while and when you do, I actually have the nerve to ask you for money!!!  I can honestly tell you I've never done this in my life.  As they say, there's always a first time for everything!!!  If it makes you feel better, it's not actually for me.  I'm not going to buy a new car or go on a shopping spree or buy new shoes for the baby!!!  The reason I've found the courage to send this note to you and beg for money is for a very good cause.  It's for American Cancer Society.  Lauryn and I will be participating in a "Relay for Life" Walkathon here in Whidbey Island in June to raise money and benefit the American Cancer Society to fight cancer.

My mom and dad are both cancer survivors.  A few of my great friends are breast cancer and ovarian cancer survivors.  One of Todd's family members is a survivor of skin cancer.  A few of our close friends are either being treated for cancer at this time or have survived one form or another or unfortunately have lost their lives to the dreaded disease.  Each and every one of us has known or knows someone who's been touched by cancer.  We're walking to Celebrate their lives and raise funds for research towards its cure.  Most importantly, personally, I'm walking for my daughter, my little nieces and nephews, your daughters and their future.

FUNDRAISERS

Striking Out Cancer is hosting our 2nd wine tasting. It's this Thursday, March 13!  This is a fun event and raises a good amount of money.  We're limited to 20 people but maybe next year we'll shoot for a Wine Tasting Gala and host it a location where we can hold more people.

We're also considering selling spring bulbs through a fundraising company.  We may try to team up with 1 or 2 other Relay teams if we can.

Our other fundraiser is a Full Moon Luna Loca Fiesta at Margaritas, Route 44, Canton, CT on Thursday April 17 starting at 6pm.  Proceeds from raffle ticket sales are donated to Relay as well as a portion of sales!  The event is a blast!  Everyone is welcome!!! Thank you Dan Garza!!!
