Appleseed Realty GMAC is back on board to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. We once again are gathering our troops together to put in place our fund raising strategies. This is a fun event and we hope for 100% participation from all our Realtors. Hope to see everyone there on June 13th.

Hello everyone. My name is Frances Allan. I just wanted to share a little story about my sister Michelle. She is a 34 year old woman who is fighting brain cancer. She was diagnosed in December of 2007. She had a tumor removed from her optic nerve in April of 2007 which left her blind. She also had another tumor resected from brain which had already grown into her brain stem. And if you dont know, you cannot operate on the brain stem so her tumor will keep growing. Radiation is out of the question according to the doctors because she is too weak. She is probably about 75 pounds now. She is being fed through a feeding tube and also has a trachiostomy tube in her throat for her to breathe. The doctors said she would probably live another 6-12 months or so. Well, she also had a brain tumor when she was just a little girl and they didnt give her past the age of 12 to live. She is a fighter and she is now 34. Not once has she complained about her sickness. She is the most selfless person I have ever met in my life. There is always hope. She is staying strong and is loving life.
This is my first year as a Team Captain and our Relay For Life's theme is "Cruising For A Cure". I need some ideas for our tent theme decorations. I would love any and all ideas that come to mind.
