when dose it need to be in by?

Last week our team set up a fundraising table at Millersville University for Dr. Steve Centola, our English professor who passed away a couple of months ago.  We had a carnival-type wheel spin game.  For a quarter, if it landed on the number you chose, you won an Arthur Miller script, donated by Dramatist's Play Service, Inc.  Our teacher was a friend of Arthur Miller and the top Miller scholar in the country. 

The college kids stopped by and spun the wheel, and we raised almost $60 for the American Cancer Society, one quarter at a time.  But the most gratifying thing about the day was when the students saw the scripts and said, "I love Death of a Salesman," or "The Crucible is so cool!"  We knew Dr. Centola would be proud of us for keeping his passion alive!  He'll always be with us. 

REVEALING YOUR TRUE SELFIdentity is an elusive concept. We feel we must define ourselves using a relatively small selection of roles and conscious character traits, even if none accurately represents our notion of "self." The confusion surrounding our true natures is further compounded by the fact that society regularly asks us to suppress so much of our emotional, intellectual, and spiritual vibrancy. Yet we are, in truth, beings of light-pure energy inhabiting physical bodies, striving for enlightenment while living earthly lives. Our true selves exist whether we acknowledge them or not, often buried under fears and learned behavior. When we recognize our power, our luminosity, and our divinity, we cannot help but live authentic lives of appreciation, potential, fulfillment, and grace.

This year is our Relays 10yr annv. we have decided to do Hollywood.

   Is male breast cancer is on the rise?  I would like to find out more about this subject because I am a passionate woman who cares very much about women's breast health along with the rising male breast cancer facts being posted on some sites. Please send anything like personal experiences, stories that are close to you, or what you know first hand.  In learning more about this subject I will be better educated and will be able to pass onto others your heart felt and caring educational information through my blogs.

 Women and men need to take on their own personal approach and that begins with taking control of their own health. Breast cancer is the only cancer we can find on our own, we cannot find colon, ovarian, cervical, stomach, or lung cancer, so what are we waiting for?  Let’s get proactive! 

I don't really have the technical expertise to do this, but it would be really nice if someone could create a relay for life facebook application.  That way relay for life participants could prominently display a logo and a link to their personal fundraiser URL on their facebook profile.  Thoughts, comments?

This is the the forth year that I have been active in Relay For Life.  I am on team Christ's All~Stars. We have 17 team members this year and we are looking forward to an amazing relay.  We are a team made of God loving christians.  Look for us May 16~17 our team will be selling Cajun red beans & rice, and a wonderful new sweet "Berry~Do~nut Kabobs" drizzled with chocolate or sprinkled with powered sugar.
