I just found out that I need to speak for 5 minutes tomorrow on the Mission.
It is for our Event Kickoff Rally and I'm not sure I even understand what is meant by Mission, let alone what to say about it to potential relayers/volunteers for FIVE WHOLE MINUTES!!
Don't get me wrong, I present in public as a profession, so I am not nervous, but rather concerned about giving not only an accurate but a meaningful, moving and/or inspiring message.
Please help. I'm truly desperate. (Will also post this in the Mission forum. I need all the help I can get!)
Thanks for any information you have...

What do I do with my cash donations?
I know I can post them to my participant center, but I'm wondering what form I need to send them into ACS. If I send a personal check after I've already posted the donation as cash under the donating persons name will this make things confusing and get posted again under my own name? I'm holding on to all cash donations until someone can give me some guidance! Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi I am a 10 and a half year lung cancer survivor, I call it "devine intervention" that I am here today. I was in a car accident and had an xray and they discovered my cancer at a very early stage. I am lucky to be alive. Cancer is a very scary diagnosis and expecially a cancer like lung cancer. I remember my first year of survival, I was invited to a relay for life relay, I did go and it was very emotional for me to walk in that relay as a survivor. It really felt great to see the support by everyone.

What form should I submit cash donations in?
I already posted the donation on to my participant page as a cash donation, and now I want to send it in to ACS - so how should I do it?
I was thinking if I sent in a personal check then it would cause some confusion with my name and the donating persons name that I posted.
Any suggestions?

Relay for Life Walk is May 30 and 31st at the Brookville High School track.
You can donate on line with a credit card under Class of 74 Please email Sandy Reinard Brubaker at slsbru@yahoo.co for more information. I have a schedule if you would like to sign up and walk.
It is $10.00 a person to walk and we need more donations. This blog thing is new to me, so please be patient. You can also register on line on the BHS Class of 74 It would be great if someone from the BHS class of 74 would like to volunteer to update and post information for our classmates out here.

Hello readers,
I have joined Relay For Life in the fight against cancer mainly because I am in NJHS but also because I have been greatly affected by cancer. Three of my close family members have died because of various forms of this terrible disease and my aunt is a breast cancer survivor. In order to stay on the Bartels 2 Team I have to raise a minimum of $200 and am desperately in need of donations. Please help this good cause by donating money or time to this organization.

I am doing my first Relay with my church Luverne UMC . Up until last year no one in my family had suffered from Cancer. Then my eldest sisters husband was diagnosed with cancer. He was taken into hospital and underwent tests and surgery ,was put in isolation for 2 weeks and his clothes were incinerated , something to do with radiotherapy . Not quite sure what was going on as I live in the USA and my sister and hubby live in UK , and we keep in touch via email . The last I heard Peter was doing good and is due to have a check-up in the near future , we are all hoping for the best.
