Curious and Confused

Don't know where else to turn. But in 2006 I joined a team with my work for the relay for life in my community. And loved every bit of it. They also had a Relay in 2007. I looked up in the Events (past and future) and found nothing for my area. Nuckolls County of Nebraska. Usually the Relay is held in my town of Superior, NE. I cannot seem to find any information about it for my area. I don't know who to talk to about it. I am also wanting to start a team. If they aren't going to be hosting in my town of Superior, then the nearby town of Hastings, NE would be great as well. If someone would be so kind as to give me some advice or lead me in the right direction - it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for anyones time and consideration in advance.

Tent decorating help

Our relay's theme this year is DANCING FOR A CURE  Everyone is to decorate their tent to some type of dance.. We are doing TWISTING OUT CANCER.. So we have the song down but now we need some ideas for out tent. I have never been the captain on a team, always the team member and almost everyone on my team has never even been on a team.  So any idea's from anyone would be so greatly appreciatedSmile

 Thank you and TWIST ON!

Safe Music for your Relay For Life Video

So you're doing some video for your event this year? And you might even upload it to SharingHope.TV? Well before you do that why don't you add some music?

Worried about using copyright music? Well you are in luck! Some very special musicians have teamed up with your American Cancer Society to help make SharingHope.TV a success. Please check them out here: http://www.sharinghope.tv/music.php. They are letting all of our people use their music in any video. So check them out today.

And before you upload that next Relay For Life video give it an extra kick by adding some music from our page.

New to Relay for Life, and have some questions

I just went to my first 24 hour relay for life event and loved it. I am very interested in ACS, and am looking forward to getting more involved, although I have a few questions. On my last event, i camped at the event overnight with my family, although I was wondering if minors are allowed to stay overnight without parental supervision? Also I am taking living skills in school which requires some community service hours and I was wondering if these events count for CS hours, and if so, how many?

Thanks for the help.

Wagner College

Hi,

I was about to register my team for the Relay for Life at Wagner College, but the event is not coming up in the search results.  I've gone for two years now, so I know it exists.  Does anyone know if it's been cancelled?

Balloon Arch

At our Relay, we have never had one of those arches with balloons that Survivors walk through..Anyone know what I am talking about?  I was just wondering if anyone had ideas about where to get one or how to make one...

Thanks!
