Luminaria Ceremony

Hello to all! I am trying to print out the luminary and survivers' lap forms. My area has yet to get a "participant center" site. Can someone please send me this form to my email? We are a small communtiy, and in order for us to raise money, luminaries are a major factor. Many people have been asking to purchase one. Please reply ASAP! Thank you ALL so very much!

Hi people!!

Hi!

Its the first time that I have ever done something like this (other than school fund raisers, ie. Jump rope for heart) So i think this will be really cool!! I am doing this with my Youth Group so that will probably make it even more spectacular. I can't wait for the Relay!

Finding a team

I signed up for a team a long time ago but did not receive a confirmation. I'm searching this website but can't find my team status like which team I'm on. When I try to log on for another team this site charges me more money. What do I do?

Great Experience

Last night was my first Relay for Life experience.  I have never met so many caring, compassionate, cheerful and committed people.  From the moment that I registered to the Luminaria ceremony, everyone that I came into contact with made my experience unforgettable.  People would come up to me and say congratulations!  At first, I thought are they talking to me, and then I realized they were congratulating me on surviving. WOW! My great nephew, his mom and mawmaw are part of the committee for the Relay for Life Event here in Mandeville.  They had told me about the event, but I had no idea!  Recently, Chris sent me an email about his personal page saying that he was raising money.  I decided to start my own personal page and send emails to my family and friends to see if I could raise money myself.  I started with a goal of $500 and have currently raised $300.  I have started a team!  We are so excited about being a part of this great event! I will keep you updated throughout the year.

Day One

Training Day #1

 Walker: Dana

Cancer Patients: Coworker Lisa and Uncle Tee

I have worked with Lisa for a long time at the YMCA. When I first met Lisa you can't help but to smile when she is around. She is very upbeat and always willing to do her best in all she does.

With in the last week I decided to walk in the Relay for Life for Lisa because as a co worker she has made such an impact on me and I think as her coworker its my duty to show my support. I have an uncle with cancer and I know the pain the family feels once diagnosed for the first time. I will keep Lisa in my daily prayers. As I walk each day I will  pray every minute as I walk, knowing  the great Lord is on her side.
