Mary Fields

Relay For Life has become a personal mission for me.  I  have chaired the Scott County TN relay for 5 years and have been a committee member for all 11 years.  As a grandmother  of 4 grandchildren I am going to FIGHT BACK.  We have to find a way to eliminate cancer so my grandchildren and yours will not be affected by this horrible disease.  RESEARCH EDUCATION is a must in the fight against cancer.  Lets all FIGHT BACK this year and make this the years that  we WIN.

Just Getting Started

good morning to everyone!

I know that many of our team members have not signed up here yet. Alot of our communication through email has been through work or yahoo.

I hope that will change so that others do not think we are not getting our work done and too much of our time is being put into something not work related!

I can use all the help I can get with this.

I am extremely excited! you have no idea!

Thank you Angela Twombley for getting me involved in this wonderful support group!

Decorating Luminary bags

Our Relay, Riverside/Wright-Patt Area, is thinking about giving the people who donate for a luminaria, the option of decorating it to make it more personal.  Any suggestions on how to do this?  I have some ideas, but would like to hear from others as well.

New to the Relay

This will be my first year, taking part in the Relay and I'm so excited.
I am a 6 year survior of breast cancer, but there have been many others in my life who, are not with me today due to Cancer. My Dad, I lost to Lung Cancer, My Brother Robbie to Melanoma at the young age of 42, My cousins Judy to pancreatic, Anita to Uterine. There are so many more close friends who have lost loved ones to this disease. I know the cure is close, I see advances that have been made just since my own diagonois. My Faith stays strong and I'm glad to finally have this chance to be a part of raising money for the cure instead of just making a donation myself. Once our team is up and going we'll have Our website on here with everyone participating,,,
So keep watching because we're all EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!
