SONGS for Fight Back Ceremony

I'm looking for ideas for songs for the Fight Back Ceremony that are NOT included in the workbook or online at THIS website. Any suggestions? I could really use some creative ideas.

Closing Ceremony Help!!!

Hello,

This is my first year as ceremony chair and I was wondering if someone could assist me in describing to me what the closing ceremonies at their relay is like. We do our awards at the wrap up party after the night of the event, so handing out awards is a no go. Just what's a typical closing ceremony like? Any fresh and new exciting ideas?

 Thanks!

Anyone having trouble registering participants?

One of my team recruitment chairs wrote to me letting me know the difficulty of registering some of her participants. So, I offered to go in under "event manager" and add a participant myself.

I'm also having problems.

It won't "process my request" & it also says someone else is using the email address. (we used none@none.com; then I changed it to nobody@none.com)

Am I missing something? Another person for a different county had the same problem.

Menus Keep Changing

Please be patient with us as we continue to manipulate the menus on RelayForLife.org. The most recent updates were made today...and have affected the left and right navigation menus. You will notice now that there is a login at the top-left of the page.

Once you log in, that will change to your account menu. Beneath that, we have listed the Most Popular Pages on RelayForLife.org. You can access the pages quickly from that menu...but they are still available in their original locations in the top and right navigation menus.

Other changes include:

  • Moved "New Forum Topics" to the left-nav
  • Moved "Latest Cancer News" to the left-nav
  • Moved "New Groups" to the left-nav
  • Moved "Relay Video" to the left-nav
  • Moved "Who's Online" to the right-nav
  • Moved "My Buddies" to the right-nav
  • Removed featured links from the middle and moved them to the "Most Popular Pages" section. Those links are: Home Page Archives & Relay 365.

Once again - I do apologize if this is causing confusion. Please understand that our primary focus is to end up with a RelayForLife.org website that is easy to find what you're looking for and for you to participate in sharing your stories and information.

Ellon - Living Hope Team - Cleveland, GA

2008-02-12

I'm excited about our new team this year!  I am a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed, July, 2005 and am now cancer free!  I thank God and good doctors for that. It is strange how cancer causes one to think.  When you have a new pain or a lump somewhere your first thought is; "Could this be cancer?"  If you're not careful it can torment your mind.  So, I decided to use a credo that Loraine Daniel, a former survivor wrote; "The person or thing you fear has power over you."  That is so true, but there is more..." Take the power back!"  that is what I have done.  I've taken back the power that so troubled my mind and have learned to celebrate life everyday!  Have you?   Ellon
