I know you've seen these! HELP

I know you've seen these in convenience stores and such for other causes.  They are little sheets of paper that you give out for a $1.00 donation. People can write their names on them or a small message and then they are hung up around the store or location where they were bought.  Does anyone know if they have these for Relay because I know I could get them in some places around town and they usually do very well in my area.

Relay University - a wonderful day

Wow!  Our Relay University was held yesterday and was a wonderful day with wonderful people.  Spending time with so many people dedicated to Relay and curing cancer - it was just a joyous day.

Thank you to all the hard-working committee members who planned and executed a flawless day full of meaning and emotion and valuable information.  Thank you!

Casual For Cancer Days

Hi Everyone!

I'm looking to start a casual for cancer day at my work but don't know how to put a letter together to give to my company to get it started.

Has anyone done this before and if so do you have any ideas or template for the letter?

Thanks!

Laurie

I'M BACK!!

Greetings to all my fellow relay junkies!!!    I've missed all my friends on here!  Had some things to take care of and it kept me away for awhile, but I'm back!

In November, I was finally able to do some chemo.....not both drugs I needed, but we took a shot and hoped for the best.   Sadly, my beloved oncologist has moved away, which totally sucks....but maybe it's a good thing to have someone new taking on my stubborn cancer!   Anyway, I did a scan a few weeks ago and got some pretty decent news....the one drug did manage to keep all the cancer asleep, except one small node, that just lit up a little bit......we know which drug I need to use, to hit whatever strain of cancer is in the nodes under my arm......it's just a matter of deciding of how much we will do.  I'll see the Dr next week and go from there.....no big deal.....easy chemo to do, so I am not freaked out at all.

Relay committee meetings are starting up again tomorrow night, and I can't wait to get things going!  It's our tenth anniversary of relay in our little town and I'm hoping that this is our best one ever!

Getting ready to party...RFL style

last year's Relay for Life event was a blast.  Jody and the girls did an awesome job of surprising me and lots of friends and family were on hand to celebrate "No Mo Chemo" with me.  I'm doing great and continue to get encouraging reports from my doctors which gives us all the more reason to continue supporting this huge event.  Progress has been made in treating cancer but we all look forward to the day when we can do away with this awful disease once and for all.

We're excited about this year's RLF.  Planning is in the beginning stages but we have big hopes and dreams.  Mark your calendars for May 16 and plan to join us this year...we'd love to see you there.Smile

Need Relay "HOPE" or luminaries photo

My team is hosting a Relay dinner auction called "Evening of Hope" I am looking for a picture of either the "HOPE" luminaries or a side shot of random luminaries at night. If anyone has some good pictures of this please contact me. I need the original file so I can enlarge it and not get distortion.

Thanks,
