Relay For Life National Leadership Team Cooks Dinner for Atlanta Hope Lodge

This week, the Relay For Life National Leadership Team met for a regular meeting, except this time, there was something special added to the agenda for the week.  The group decided that rather than spend money going out to eat, we could do more good with our meal than just stuffing our faces.  So, it was decided that we would visit one of the Atlanta Hope Lodge facilities (they have 2 in Atlanta), and cook dinner for the guests.

We divided into two groups (one to cook dinner, the other to clean).  I was fortunate to be a part of the cooking crew (I hate to clean dishes).  Not only did we have fun making a healthy meal, but we were able to share it with cancer patients and their caregivers.
